Discover the breathtaking beauty of Mongolia’s Gobi Desert on this immersive 5-day journey through some of the country’s most spectacular landscapes.

Travel across the vast Mongolian steppe and explore dramatic natural wonders, from the towering limestone cliffs of Tsagaan Suvarga to the narrow canyon of Yolyn Am, surrounded by the mountains of Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park.

Experience the true spirit of the Gobi at Khongoryn Els, home to Mongolia’s famous “Singing Dunes.” Ride a traditional two-humped Bactrian camel across the golden sands, explore the dunes on foot, and enjoy a spectacular desert sunset.

Step into Mongolia’s prehistoric past at Bayanzag, also known as the Flaming Cliffs. Explore the striking red sandstone landscape and learn about the internationally significant dinosaur fossil discoveries made in this region, including some of the earliest dinosaur eggs ever scientifically documented.

Throughout the journey, stay in traditional Mongolian ger camps, enjoy local cuisine, and experience the unique landscapes and nomadic heritage of the Gobi.

Morning Departure:
After an early breakfast, we leave Ulaanbaatar and begin our journey south toward the Gobi Desert. Travel across the vast Mongolian steppe, watching the landscape gradually change as we approach the Gobi.
Lunch:
Stop at a suitable location along the way for lunch before continuing our journey south.
Tsagaan Suvarga (White Stupa):
In the afternoon, arrive at Tsagaan Suvarga, one of Mongolia's most spectacular natural landscapes. Explore the dramatic limestone cliffs, shaped by millions of years of natural erosion.
Sunset:
In the evening, enjoy the changing colors of the cliffs as the sun sets over the Gobi landscape.
Overnight: Ger camp near Tsagaan Suvarga.

Morning Departure:
After breakfast, we leave Tsagaan Suvarga and continue south toward Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park.
Yolyn Am Canyon:
Arrive at Yolyn Am, a spectacular mountain valley surrounded by towering rocky cliffs. The canyon is famous for its narrow gorge and seasonal ice, which can remain in the deepest parts of the valley even during the warmer months.
Enjoy a scenic walk through the canyon, taking time to appreciate the dramatic mountain landscape and the unique environment of the Gobi.
Wildlife & Nature:
Keep an eye out for wildlife and birds that inhabit the surrounding mountains. Depending on the season and conditions, there may also be opportunities to see wild sheep, ibex, or other native animals.
Evening:
After exploring Yolyn Am, continue to our ger camp and enjoy a relaxing evening in the Gobi.
Overnight: Ger Camp near Yolyn Am.

Morning Departure:
After breakfast, we leave Yolyn Am and continue our journey through the dramatic landscapes of the Gobi Desert toward Khongoryn Els, one of Mongolia's most spectacular sand dune systems.
Khongoryn Els – The Singing Dunes:
Arrive at Khongoryn Els and explore the vast golden dunes stretching across the desert landscape.
Camel Riding:
Experience a traditional Mongolian camel-riding adventure among the dunes. Ride across the desert on a two-humped Bactrian camel and experience one of the most iconic ways of traveling through the Gobi.
Dune Exploration:
Take a walk among the dunes and, for those who wish, climb one of the higher dunes for panoramic views across the surrounding desert.
Sunset:
In the evening, enjoy the spectacular sunset over the endless sand dunes before returning to the ger camp.
Overnight: Ger Camp at Khongoryn Els.

Morning Departure:
After breakfast, we leave Khongoryn Els and continue toward Bayanzag, one of Mongolia's most famous paleontological sites.
Bayanzag – The Flaming Cliffs:
Arrive at Bayanzag and explore its striking red sandstone cliffs and surrounding desert landscape. The area is internationally renowned for important dinosaur fossil discoveries, including some of the earliest dinosaur eggs ever scientifically documented.
Learn about the history of the famous paleontological expeditions in the Gobi and the discoveries that helped establish Mongolia as one of the world's most important regions for dinosaur research.
Explore the Flaming Cliffs:
Walk through the surrounding landscape, explore the red cliffs, and look for traces of the ancient prehistoric world preserved in the Gobi.
Sunset at Bayanzag:
In the evening, enjoy the dramatic colors of the Flaming Cliffs as the setting sun transforms the red sandstone landscape.
Overnight: Ger Camp near Bayanzag.

Morning:
After breakfast, we leave Bayanzag and travel toward Dalanzadgad, the provincial capital of Ömnögovi Province.
Journey to Dalanzadgad:
Enjoy the changing landscapes of the Gobi as we travel toward the airport. Along the way, there may be opportunities to stop and photograph the vast desert scenery.
Flight to Ulaanbaatar:
Upon arrival in Dalanzadgad, board a domestic flight to Ulaanbaatar.
After landing in Ulaanbaatar, our team will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.
End of the Tour:
The 5-day Gobi Desert adventure ends upon arrival at your hotel in Ulaanbaatar.
Important: Domestic flight schedules may vary depending on the season and airline schedule. The flight from Dalanzadgad to Ulaanbaatar will be arranged according to the available schedule.
