Our Vision

Founded in 2017 by experienced mountaineers and travel professionals, Mongolian Mountain Summit LLC is dedicated to creating meaningful and authentic travel experiences across Mongolia's mountains, wilderness and cultural landscapes.

We believe that travel should be more than simply visiting places. Our aim is to help travelers experience Mongolia more deeply through mountaineering, trekking, archaeology, history and living nomadic culture, while combining professional guiding with local knowledge.

Through our partnership with our Japan-based entity, Summit Co., Ltd., we provide attentive communication, safety management and local support for travelers visiting Mongolia. From first-time adventurers to experienced climbers, we design our programs around each guest's experience, physical ability and goals, with safety as our highest priority.

Our Services

1. Mountaineering & High-Altitude Expeditions

We specialize in mountaineering expeditions to Mongolia's 4,000-meter-class peaks, including Mt. Sutai and Mongolia's highest peak, Mt. Khuiten. Our expeditions are led by experienced mountain guides, with careful planning and safety as our highest priority.

2. Trekking & Nature Experiences

From vast open steppes and mountain valleys to alpine lakes, deserts and remote wilderness, we offer a variety of trekking and hiking experiences across Mongolia. From day hikes to multi-day camping expeditions, itineraries can be tailored to the route, season, experience and physical ability of each group.

3. Cultural & Archaeological Journeys

Explore Mongolia's ancient civilizations, archaeological sites, history and living nomadic culture through immersive small-group journeys. Our programs may include visits to ancient settlements and burial complexes, archaeological interpretation by specialists, stays with nomadic families, horseback riding and hands-on experiences of traditional Mongolian life.

4. Custom & Special Projects

We also design tailor-made journeys for travelers and groups with specific interests, including mountaineering, trekking, photography, cultural experiences, archaeology and nature-based programs.

Accommodation & Facilities

• Summit Guesthouse & Office – Ulaanbaatar
  Located in central Ulaanbaatar, Summit Guesthouse is operated by Mongolian Mountain Summit LLC and also serves as our company's local office. The guesthouse provides a comfortable and convenient base for travelers before and after their tours, as well as a place where guests can meet our team and receive local travel support.
• Khuvsgul Tourist Camp
  Located in the scenic surroundings of Ulaan-Uul Sum in northern Mongolia, this camp is used as a base for selected tours and expeditions in the region.

What Sets Us Apart

We use practical equipment and support systems to improve comfort, communication and safety during our remote expeditions and outdoor journeys.

• Starlink Connectivity:
  We carry Starlink Satellite Internet on selected expeditions, providing a reliable communication option in remote areas where mobile coverage is unavailable.
• Hygiene & Comfort:
  Depending on the tour and location, we provide equipment such as bio-toilets, portable showers, sleeping bags and mattresses to make camping in remote areas more comfortable.
• Portable Power Stations:
  Portable power stations are available on selected expeditions to help guests charge cameras, smartphones and other essential devices.
• Professional Mountaineering Equipment:
  Technical equipment such as crampons, harnesses and ice axes is available for selected mountaineering programs. Equipment availability and rental conditions depend on the specific tour.

We work closely with local communities and nomadic families to create responsible travel experiences that support local livelihoods while helping preserve Mongolia’s natural and cultural heritage.
