By joining this tour, you will explore the stunning natural landscapes of Mongolia's northwestern region, near the Russian border, in the foothills of the Eastern Sayan Mountains, surrounded by coniferous forests. Often compared to the Swiss Alps or Scandinavian forests, this area introduces you to the Tsaatan people, who live in the Taiga forests. During summer, they migrate to the mountainous regions to tend to their reindeer, and they will come to meet us in accessible areas. This region remains largely unknown even to many Mongolians, offering a unique opportunity to discover pristine nature. It is a special destination not only for professional photographers but also for those interested in photography.

On this tour, you will experience:

  • Meeting the authentic Tsaatan people.
  • Riding reindeer.
  • Horseback riding.
  • Immersing yourself in the great outdoors.
  • Visiting Khuvsgul Lake.
  • Stargazing under a magnificent night sky.

Additionally, you can have a traditional Mongolian costume, the "deel," custom-made for your trip.

Early in the morning, transfer to Chinggis Khaan International Airport with your Japanese-speaking guide. The flight departs at 07:10 and is expected to arrive at Khuvsgul Airport at 08:15. Upon arrival, you will be met by the driver, assistant guide, and cook. After breakfast at the tourist camp, visit the Al-Bosgot Valley (32 km, 1.5 hours). This picturesque valley is a favorite among travelers, requiring several river crossings to explore further. Return to the vehicle and enjoy Mongolian cuisine prepared over a campfire. In the afternoon, continue your journey to Tsagaan Nuur (White Lake). En route, visit a Tsaatan family who graze reindeer in the forested Taiga region. Stay overnight in a traditional mobile dwelling called an urts, accommodating 4-5 people, with dinner served at the same location.
After breakfast in the urts, spend the morning experiencing the Tsaatan lifestyle, including riding reindeer and taking photos. After lunch, return to Ulaan Uul village with a drive of approximately 6 hours. You will stay at our tourist camp with shower facilities.
Enjoy breakfast at the tourist camp before heading to Khuvsgul Lake. The journey covers 115 km and takes around 6 hours. Lunch will be provided as a packed meal during the trip. En route, stop at a cashmere factory for shopping. After checking into your hotel and dropping off your luggage, visit places such as the Nomin Department Store, Sukhbaatar Square, and Gandan Monastery. You will be guided back to the hotel after dinner (approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes).
Travel to the airport with your English-speaking guide. Share your memories of Mongolia during the journey. Board the direct flight with MIAT Mongolian Airlines.

Thank you very much for your support towards climbing Otgontenger this time.

Being able to communicate in Japanese for everything from email exchanges during the preparation stage to on-site follow-up was really helpful for me, as I don't have any language skills.

During the climb, the two young guides supported me as I was about to give up due to the blizzard and snow walls, and successfully guided me to the summit. I was surprised to hear that the company has only been established for a few years. I pray that it will continue to prosper.

Please take me somewhere else.

I felt like I was able to climb a mountain for the first time in a while.

Also, I am very satisfied with the "hospitality" of the staff, including Mr. Uruka.

However, as we get older, we often forget things, and we apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your continued support.

Thank you very much.
