Important NoticesPriority on Summiting: Our primary goal is to reach the summit of Khuiten Peak. Because weather conditions can be unpredictable, the team may need to wait for a clear window. In such cases, the team will discuss whether to cancel certain itinerary days to prioritize the climb. If a consensus cannot be reached, the organizers will make the final decision.

Domestic Flight Information: Ulaanbaatar – UlgiiFlight Frequency: Currently, there is typically one airline operating scheduled flights from Ulaanbaatar to Ulgii twice a week. Occasionally, additional flights may become available.

Flight Duration: The outbound flight to Ulgii takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. The return flight to Ulaanbaatar is approximately 3 hours and 10 minutes.

Baggage Allowance: The total baggage limit for domestic flights is 15 kg. This consists of 10 kg for checked baggage and 5 kg for carry-on.

Excess Baggage: Any weight exceeding the limit is charged at approximately 1 USD per kg. Flexibility: Flight schedules and travel dates depend entirely on the airline's timetable. Therefore, the travel itinerary is subject to adjustments and may be shifted forward or backward accordingly.

Depart from Ulgii in a Russian minivan for a 200 km drive.
National Park Gateway: Reach the Tsagaan Gol Valley at an elevation of 2600 meters, which serves as the gateway to the Altai Tavan Bogd National Park.Scenic Landscapes: Enjoy breathtaking views of the Altai Mountains' natural formations along the way.

Head toward the Advanced Base Camp by crossing the moraine and ascending the glacier to reach 3600 meters.
Activity: The trek takes 5–6 hours; once you arrive at ABC, you will rest and prepare for the summit attempt the following day.

Day 13: Bagaturgen Waterfall, Eagle Hunter Visit & Return to Ulgii
Waterfall Hike: Take a 2 km (one way) walk to visit the stunning Bagaturgen Waterfall, surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery.
Cultural Experience: Visit a local Kazakh family to learn about the ancient tradition of eagle hunting and capture memorable photos with the golden eagles.
Drive to Ulgii: After the cultural activities, we will drive back to Ulgii city (the center of Bayan-Ulgii province).
Evening: Transfer to a local hotel for a comfortable stay and a warm shower.

Transfer: Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in and relaxation.
Shopping & Souvenirs: Enjoy some free time for shopping at local department stores or cashmere outlets (such as Gobi Cashmere or State Department Store) to pick up gifts and souvenirs.
City Exploration: If time permits, we are happy to guide you to any specific locations or landmarks you wish to visit within Ulaanbaatar.
Farewell Dinner: In the evening, enjoy a final group dinner to reflect on the expedition and celebrate our successful journey.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight home.
